The St Neots Riverside Half Marathon is firmly established on the race calender with a developing reputation for putting on a top class event. The course is renowned as potential for PB’s as its three mile downhill finish allows for some seriously fast times. 2014 saw a complete sell out of 1200 race entries within six hours of opening. This year is shaping up to be an even better race. New and improved start and finish for 2015. Entries will be open 14th February 2015. Valentines day. Get your partner a great present !

Routes
The route is a one-lap course on country roads. The course, which is slightly undulating, will be fully marshalled and policed. You must obey the instructions of the marshals and/0r police at all times. You MUST race on the LEFT HAND SIDE of the road unless instructed otherwise by a marshal.
Arrival and Registration
PLEASE NOTE you will collect your race pack at registration on the day of the event. Nothing will be posted prior to the event.
A FULL race brief will be emailed to your registered email address during the week leading up to the event. If for any reason you don’t receive this email, full race information will be available HERE at least two days prior to the event, Please ensure you check the web site and your email prior to travel for any important updates.
Registration will be open from 07.30 – 09.30 on race day only. Please ensure you arrive early to avoid that last minute rush
Toilets and Bag Storage
Race Headquarters is where you will find limited toilets, showers, changing rooms and refreshment facilities. Extra Porta loo’s will be situated outside the building at the Rec. There will be limited last minute porta toilets at the start. DO NOT USE THE STREETS AS A TOILET. anyone caught will be instantly disqualified, its also illegal and there will be plenty of police around, you have been warned.
A supervised baggage storage area will be provided at HQ. fill in your label and hand it in. Storage will be at the owner’s risk.
Minimum age of competitors
The minimum age to take part in this event is 17 years old in that year.
Parking
Parking will be at the venue Recreation centre and surrounding approved the car parks only please follow marshals and signs.
Identification
You will be issued with a race number which must be clearly visible either on your front at all times. Number belts are allowed, all we ask it that we can see your number at the timing points as a backup to the electronic system. YOU MUST NOT ALLOW ANY ONE ELSE TO RACE WITH YOUR NUMBER.
Safety
If circumstances deem the course or travel conditions to be unsafe or it falls outside of the UKA guidelines, Nicetri have the right to change/move, or cancel the event at short notice.

Chip Timing
Nicetri Events Solutions will provide computerised chip timing via an electronic chip system that will be issued to you with your number. Your finish time and splits will be available as you cross the line and for your spectators live online via a smart phone instantly.
Race start
Main race start will be at 10 am. Ensure you are on Potton road which is a five minute walk from race HQ (follow signs) ready for race briefing at 09.50 am

Water Stations
Drink stations at approximately 3, 6, 9 and 11 miles.
Bottle water will be supplied at the water stations, There will be numerous BOTTLE & GEL drops around the course please ensure you use them or carry it until you find one. RANDOM BOTTLE & GEL DROPPING WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

Fun Run
Fun Run will start at 09:00 am. The start and finish will be near the Astroturf pitches behind the Leisure Centre. The 3k course is around St Neots Community College fields and along farm tracks. There will be plenty of marshals and signs.
Each finisher will receive a medal.
Prizes are both for men and women. One prize per competitor (age group prizes will be rolled down)

Entries will be taken on the day up to 8:30am; the fee will be £3.50 per entry
Results will be posted online on completion of the main race.
