Welcome to the first running of the Grafham Challenges which take part in the grounds of Grafham Water Reservoir park. Cambridgeshire.
The start and the finish are conveniently located together, making for excellent spectator viewing. Located in the heart of Cambridgeshire, near the ancient Village of Buckden, “Simply stunning” were the words used to describe the venue at which the challenges are hosted.
Competitors will receive all the elements you would expect from a high profile City centre running event, including online registration, chip timing, professional event medical cover, high quality medals and a technical t-shirt for all finishers

Routes
Arrival and Registration
PLEASE NOTE you will collect your race pack at registration on the day of the event. *Nothing will be posted prior to the event.*
A FULL race brief will be emailed to your registered email address during the week leading up to the event. If for any reason you don’t receive this email, full race information will be available HERE at least two days prior to the event, Please ensure you check the web site and your email prior to travel for any important updates.
Registration will be open from 07.30 – 08.45 on race day only. Please ensure you arrive early to avoid that last minute rush
Toilets and Bag Storage
There are toilets on site and Nicetri Events will be provding bag storage, Upon arrival at registration collect your race pack and your baggage label and return your belongings to the baggage tent prior to the race starting. Once you have completed the race please return with your race number to collect your belongings (No race number means no return of items)* Please note Nicetri Events will not be held responsible for loss of personal items*
Minimum age of competitors

Dam Wall Fun Run: 5 Years Old (Anyone under 5 has to be accompanied by an adult)
1 Lap Challenge: 16 Years Old
Marathon: 18 Years Old
Parking
Parking will be at the venue, please follow car parks signs and follow marshal instructions
Identification
You will be issued with a race number which must be clearly visible either on your front at all times. Number belts are allowed, all we ask it that we can see your number at the timing points as a backup to the electronic system. YOU MUST NOT ALLOW ANY ONE ELSE TO RACE WITH YOUR NUMBER.
Safety
If circumstances deem the course or travel conditions to be unsafe or it falls outside of guidelines, Nicetri have the right to change/move, or cancel the event at short notice.

Chip Timing Solutions will provide computerised chip timing via an electronic chip system that will be issued to you with your number. Your finish time and splits will be available as you cross the line and for your spectators live online via a smart phone instantly.
Live Results
Pre Race Briefing
All briefings will take place 10 minutes prior to the race start times
Water Stations
Drink stations at approximately 3, 6, and 9 miles.
EnergyGels will be available at at all drink/feed stations
Water will be supplied at the water stations, There will be numerous BOTTLE & GEL drops around the course please ensure you use them or carry it until you find one. RANDOM BOTTLE & GEL DROPPING WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

Prizes
Prizes are both for men and women. One prize per competitor
Dam Wall Fun Run
Fun Run will start at 10:45 am. The start and finish will be near registration. The 2 Mile course is an out and back course along the dam wall. Runners will run up the right hand side and return on the left hand side.
Each finisher will receive a medal
